Impermanence

Time mutates continually and as it glides by an unimposing element of nature, it unmasks it layer by layer – peeling, eroding, withering. For those who peer into its cracks and crevices it tells a story of unpretentious unprepossessing beauty. The kind of beauty that sits still in the moment and hopes to be transparent. Let it be; let here be.

For most of my drawings, water-based inks often form the base but in this Series Impermanence, the washes took precedence over pen marks thereby becoming the main medium.
